Farmers begin planting corn in 6 more states, progress surges in MO and NC

USDA released its third Crop Progress Report of the 2024 growing season on April 15. Corn planting is 6% complete, and Missouri is 16% ahead of its five-year average with 26% of its crop already in the ground.
